Serves 4
Ingredients:
- 20 oz of Brussels Sprouts, halved
- 1/4 tsp of salt
- 1 tsp of cumin
- 2 tsp of Reduced Sodium Worcestershire Sauce
- 2 tsp of Sunflower Oil or Avocado Oil
- 2 tsp of Hickory liquid smoke
- 2 tsp of Agave
- Optional: Balsamic Vinegar
Directions:
In a large mixing bowl, add the Brussels Sprouts together with the salt and cumin. Toss to coat evenly.
Then add the Worcestershire sauce, the liquid smoke, and the oil into the mixing bowl. Toss to coat evenly.
Preheat the air fryer for 3 mins at the desired temperature. (If you skip this step the Brussels sprouts will need to be cooked for longer)
Now for bigger in size Brussels Sprouts you are going to want to cook them at 400 degrees for 10 mins, then flip them, and cook for an additional 5-10 mins.
For the smaller in size Brussels Sprouts, you are going to cook them at 350 degrees for 5 mins before flipping them and cooking for an additional 5 mins-7 mins depending on how crispy you want your Brussels Sprouts to be.
Once evenly crispy, remove from the air fryer pan, toss with a dash of balsamic vinegar, and serve.
